Dr. Alexander Bertot, M.D.
Orthopaedic Surgeon
Alexander J. Bertot, M.D., attended medical school at the
Medical College of Pennsylvania. He completed his ortho-paedic
surgery training at Tulane University Medical Center and
Charity Hospital of New Orleans, where he served as administrative
chief orthopaedic resident. At Tulane, he received the Leneord
Mounar Award for outstanding senior resident. He went on
to complete a sports medicine fellowship at Johns Hopkins
University. At Johns Hopkins, he provided orthopaedic coverage
for the school’s NCAA football and lacrosse teams,
as well as serving as an attending orthopaedic trauma surgeon.
Dr. Bertot has published various research articles in some
of the leading orthopaedic review journals. He specializes
in arthroscopy, shoulder and knee reconstruction, and joint
replacement surgery. His interests also include general orthopaedic,
pediatric and adult trauma. |
