Physician Assistant
John A. Torres PA-C, MPH, began his studies at Nova Southeastern University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Life Science. He then worked as an orthopaedic technician at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. He returned to Nova Southeastern University to start his physician assistant studies and graduated in 2003 with a master’s degree in Public Health, as well as a B.S. in physician assistant studies. He is an active member of the community and volunteers as part of the medical staff of Pembroke Pines Charter High School, the NHL Florida Panthers, as well as plays trumpet in the orchestra at Christian Life Center. He is currently board certified by the National Certifying Commission of Physician Assistants, and is a fellow of the Physician Assistants in Orthopeadic Surgery, Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. |
