Dr. Mark S. Fishman, D.O.

Dr. Mark S. Fishman is a Board Certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation specialist with fellowship training in Spine Medicine & Interventional Pain Management of Spinal Disorders. Dr. Fishman is a graduate of the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and the residency training program of the rehabilitation medicine department at the New York University Medical Center in Manhattan. Here he proudly served as the administrative chief resident at the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine, the oldest and largest training institution for physiatrists anywhere in the world. Dr. Fishman also completed a highly competitive interventional spine fellowship at the Florida Spine Institute and practices spine, sports and occupational rehabilitation medicine with a particular interest in the diagnosis and management of painful spinal disorders at the South Florida Institute of Sports Medicine. Dr. Fishman is well versed and published in the field of spine medicine, and routinely performs minimally invasive spine procedures (epidural steroid injections, sacroiliac joint injections, intra-articular facet joint injections, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablation, discograms, and disc nucleoplasty) and electrodiagnostic testing to maximize treatment outcomes.
