Below is another case of an adolescent with flatfeet. The left foot has been surgically corrected and the right has not yet been corrected not that the arch is elevated, the foot is a more upright posture and the heel bone is aligned. This procedure involved an Achilles lenthening, a subtaltar joint implant and a mid tarsal joint fusion. The foot was corrected in all three planes.
